MKCCC is open 7:30am-6:00pm Monday-Friday. We do not offer extended hours.

Food
Children are offered breakfast, a hot lunch and a snack.
All food is prepared by The Center's own" Feed Me Fresh" Kitchen.
Our unique sustainable food service program provides the freshest meals
made from scratch incorporating ingredients from local farms and our own
gardens whenever possible.
Naps
Children nap during the day generally between 1pm and 3pm. They are encouraged to rest but not forced to sleep; children who don’t nap may look at books or engage in quiet activities.
Staff:Child Ratios
Infants (3 months-18 months): 3 teachers with 8 children
Toddlers (18 months-3 years): 3 teachers with 10 children
Preschool (3-5 years): 3 teachers with 16 children
Afterschool (K-6th grade): 5 teachers with 45 children
Each classroom has one head teacher and two assistant teachers. The head teachers are required to have an Associate degree. Many of our teachers have Bachelors degrees. Assistant teachers must have a high school diploma.
All staff members are required to have 30 hours of training in each licensing period. Training includes First Aid, CPR, recognizing child abuse and health and safety training.
Curriculum
The focus of the >toddler curriculum is to develop self-help skills, language acquisiting and socialization.
The preschool program focuses on socialization, problem solving and kindergarten readiness skills.
School age: Although we are committed to helping children complete homework, we also recognize the child’s need to relax, play, exercise and socialize.
