The Center's staff consists of an Executive Director, a Program Director, head teachers and assistant teachers plus an administrative staff, including a social worker and a nurse.
Each classroom has one head teacher and two assistant teachers. The head teachers are required to have an Associate degree or a Bachelor's degree. Assistant teachers must have a high school diploma. All staff members are required to have 30 hours of training in each licensing period. Training includes First Aid, CPR, recognizing child abuse and health and safety training.
There are ten classrooms, ten head teachers and 26 assistant teachers. All staff members receive a background check, are finger printed and screened through the NYS Central Registry of Child Abuse. When children and seniors are together, they are always "double supervised" and are never left alone.
